Helium Filled Drone Aircraft dubbed “Eye in the Sky,” Will Display Billboards
Aerotain’s Skye project aims to fill our sky with a fleet of hovering drones that advertise to you. The 10ft round, blimp-like drone dubbed “the eye in the sky,” will have the ability to livestream video and even project movies onto it’s surface, according to the company’s website.
The video depicts a “flying robot called Skye that is secure enough to fly above crowds and be touched in midflight,” and not an immediate danger if it malfunctions.
“Aerotain’s Skye is the Bentley of aerial platforms, offering new horizons in aerial entertainment. Skye’s surface can be designed individually, for instance to depict a product or to show the name of a brand. With interactive entertainment concepts, such as aerial selfies or a life-stream, people can be engaged to interact with Skye, resulting in significant recall of the brand,” Aerotain touts.
The drone is a flying whiteboard that can take any shape and any design to portray a clients product.
Skye has a diverse amount of capabilities including, entertainment, advertising, aerial imagery and can be tailored toward your business needs.
The company advertises offering a drone platform that is not alarming in a natural setting and more user-friendly.
“Our modular platform allows various designs and is perceived more organically, contrary to most robots. This allows it to be smoothly implemented into various event settings. We cover the whole process from idea to execution. At the event, an experienced pilot is assuring a high level of customer satisfaction and can precisely address your individual requests.”
The machine will have the ability to collect meta data in difficult to reach places, as well as offer an “eye in the sky,” and create a more secure surveillance system.
